How to determine if your device is broken.

How to determine if your device is broken.

  1. Insert the USB cable of your device into the Pearl or ONYX. The red light should start blinking. The blinking indicates that the internal battery is loading; if the battery stops blinking the device is fully charged and ready for use.
  1. If you see no light blinking then try another computer or another USB cable. If my no means you get a light indication the device can be considered broken.
  1. The device could be tested without a Bluetooth connection, if it’s fully charged go through the different modes by pressing the main button to go through the different modes. Depending if it’s the ONYX or the PEARL the device should vibrate or go in auto thrust mode.
  2. To test the Bluetooth functionality the best thing is to try to pair the device with a mobile phone. Mobile phones in general have high quality Bluetooth chips built in. And is a good method of testing if the device will connect.

    Hi Robert en Spyris,

You could try the following procedure:

1 Download and install the Kiiroo Platform for a laptop/pc/mac.

2 Make sure you have a bluetooth dongle or internal bluetooth turned on.

3 Search for the BT device "ONYX" or "PEARL"

    4 Pair with code 1234

    5 Start kiiroo platform

    6 Wait 5 minutes

7 Go to kiiroo.com/updater in either firefox or chrome.

Couples set was a total waste of $300.  I should have went with the Launch Couples set instead and saved $20. I avoided the launch out of fear of the it being such a large device, but now I wish I had went that route.

Onyx2 keeps "locking" up.  It stops moving, makes a vibration sound for a few seconds then shuts down (blinking red light).  Battery is not dead as I can take it directly off the charger (solid blue light) and it will do this. Plugging it back in immediately results in 2-3 red blinks then solid blue.  Support made me send in video of this problem, which I did last week.

Funny thing is I was messing around with it today just to test out the problem in both manual and linked mode.  It seemed to be working fine after about 15-20 minutes so I decided to test it out as it had not worked that well since I received it. As I inserted slowly between "contractions", I got about half way in and it locked up.  Very annoying to get "ready" and lubed just to have the device fail right as you begin using it.

Mine is doing the same exact thing as well. Halfway through to using it and it buzzes and just freeze. I can get it to still sync with any video online but when its time to auto thrust the onyx2 just makes vibrating noises and nothing actually happends. And when i switch it over to manual mode it then powers down. What is going on?
